PATRA

PATRA inc. ACDA supports and enables racially and socially disadvantaged young people with skills, engagement and employment so they can achieve their full potential from our location in the East Midlands. We've worked with 14 young people on this project so far.

PATRA provides opportunities for young people from BAME communities, many of whom find it difficult to engage in skilled blue-collar jobs, through a 13-week training programme that covers a minimum of 280 hours of classroom and practical learning. PATRA will guide the young people to progress into further training and employment within the building and construction sector. We are working to expand recruitment and engagement of stakeholders so that we can look to increase our work and provide important access to BAME young people within the blue-collar jobs sector.
